CX Agent works without an account, but signing in gives you a bigger CX AI daily quota, cloud backup of chats, your username, support tickets and sync across phones.

Creating an account#

The sign-in screen asks one thing at a time:

  1. What's your email? If it already has an account, you go to Welcome back and type your password. Otherwise sign-up continues.
  2. When is your birthday? Only used to check you are old enough. You must be 13 or older.
  3. Pick a username. This is how you appear in CX Agent. It can't be changed later.
  4. Create a password and Confirm your password. A strength meter and rules are shown.

You can also continue with Google. If your Google email already has a CX account with a password, CX asks for that password once to link both sign-in methods. After that either way opens the same account.

Email verification#

Email/password accounts get a verification gate: open the link in your inbox and tap I've verified, or Later. Verifying unlocks the higher quota tier.

Profile#

Open Profile (tap your name in Settings) to see:

  • Name (editable), Username (can't be changed), how you signed in, Verify your email.
  • Counts of chats, memory and attachments.
  • Shortcuts: What CX remembers, Morning brief, My widgets, Your files, CX PDF, What's new, Help and support, Privacy Policy and Terms, About Chandail X.
  • Add a password (for Google accounts, so you can also log in with email; it stays the same account).
  • Admin panel (only for admins).
  • Sign out, Erase data from this device, Delete account.

Local data protection#

If data on the phone belongs to a different account than the one signing in, CX keeps it locked: "Local data is kept and locked. Sign in with its original account." You can choose Erase data from this device… instead.

Deleting your account#

Profile → Delete account (or Settings → Privacy and cookies → Delete account or erase data). Type DELETE, confirm with your password or Google, and CX deletes your account, username, and all chats, memory and attachments in the cloud, plus local data. If Firebase needs a fresh sign-in, you are asked to confirm and deletion continues. You can also request deletion on the web at cxagent.pages.dev/delete-account.

Warning

Account deletion cannot be undone. Back up first if you want to keep anything (see Backup and sync).

Account restrictions#

If an admin restricts an account, a screen shows the reason, how long it lasts (or that it is permanent) and an Appeal form. Replies appear on the same screen.
