Your first chat

The start screen#

A new chat shows a greeting ("What are we working on?"), a row of idea chips and the composer.

• Suggestion pill: on an empty chat the composer is a compact pill with rotating suggestions. Tap the pill to open the full composer (empty). Tap the round send button on the pill to send the suggestion shown. You can switch the pill off in Settings → Customization → Layout, cards and looks → Suggestion pill.
• Idea chips: Search the web, Drop in a link, Find a document, Add an image, Write something, Build a plan (@Plan), Automate a browser task, Build an app, and More ways to start.

Sending#

Type and tap the up-arrow send button. With Send on Enter (Settings → Chat and display → Chat) the Enter key sends instead of adding a new line.

While CX replies:

• A thinking indicator (the animated CX logo) shows, then the text streams in.
• Tool steps (searching, reading a page, writing a file) appear as compact cards inside the reply.
• Long tasks can show a small mini-game above the composer (CX Stack, CX Bird or CX Catch) if Game while AI replies is on.
• If you leave the app mid-answer, a foreground service keeps the reply and its tools running and a notification tells you when it is done.

To stop, tap the stop button and confirm Cancel response?.

After the reply#

• Tap and hold a reply for its menu (copy, speak, share as image, report and more). See Messages and actions.
• Follow-up chips may appear under a reply.
• If CX needs something from you it asks with a small form (Ask n questions, choices or "Type your own answer").

No internet#

If the connection drops, CX says "Your chat is saved. Check your connection, then tap Continue." Nothing is lost.
