CX GPS Cam
Take photos stamped with GPS, address, date, time and a map, edit the stamp card and manage GPS photos.
CX GPS Cam takes photos with a stamp showing location, address, date and time and a map thumbnail – useful for site visits, deliveries and proof of presence. Open it from the drawer tile GPS Camera, CX Apps, the app shortcut, or install it as its own icon.
Taking a photo#
- Waits for GPS ("Waiting for GPS signal…", "Locating…").
- Controls: flash (auto/on/off), Flip camera (front/rear), Timer, Grid lines, Document mode ("align inside the frame").
- Note on stamp – add a note like "Site visit 12".
- Card style: Compact, Detailed, Long and more; options to show accuracy, altitude and direction, place name and address ("Address unavailable offline").
- Photos are saved with the GPS stamp and GPS data in the file ("GPS in file").
GPS Photos#
The gallery groups photos by day (Today, Yesterday…). Select, share or delete (removed from your gallery).
Editing a stamp card#
Edit card lets you change the date and time, note, address text and card style with a Live preview. Latitude and longitude are locked – they stay as the proof of where the photo was taken. Save as new copy (recommended; the current photo stays) or Replace this photo (the clean original stays inside CX Agent).
Permissions: camera (required), precise location (for the stamp).
