Ad and tracker blocker#

Block ads and trackers is in Browser settings. Tap the shield/security icon in the address bar to see "Ads and trackers · n blocked in total", the blocked hosts, and Block ads on this site (per-site switch). The AI browser agent benefits from the blocker too.

HTTPS-only mode#

Opens secure versions of sites. If a site has no https, you get a warning with Continue anyway.

Site settings#

⋮ → Site settings: per site Block ads on this site, camera/mic/location answers, Reset this site. All sites lists saved site settings with Reset all (every site asks again for camera, mic and location).

Privacy & security options#

Third-party cookies, JavaScript, Allow pop-ups (off blocks pages from opening new windows), Wipe data after incognito, Save task history.

Passwords & autofill#

Confirm it's you (biometric/screen lock) to see saved passwords and addresses. Saved on this device only, encrypted with a key kept in the Android Keystore. When you visit a site, CX offers Fill login for … or Fill address, and asks to save new addresses.

Clearing data#

Browser settings → Clear browsing data: cache, cookies, history, local storage, site data (signs you out of websites; bookmarks and downloads stay). Settings → Privacy and cookies → Clear cookies and site data does the same for the CX browser (saved logins in Cx Orbit are not affected). Clear app cache is also available.
