External automation (Tasker, MacroDroid)
Let trusted apps like Tasker send tasks to CX with RUN_TASK intents.
Other automation apps can start CX tasks with Android intents com.cx.agent.RUN_TASK and com.cx.agent.RUN_CHAT.
- The feature is off by default. While off, every incoming intent is rejected.
- You enable it and add trusted caller packages (e.g.
net.dinglisch.android.taskermfor Tasker,com.arlosoft.macrodroidfor MacroDroid) by asking CX ("enable external automation for Tasker"). These changes need your approval. - Untrusted callers are rejected. CX keeps the last 20 invocations; ask "external automation status" to see them.
