CX Browser: the AI browser agent
Let CX browse, click and type for you while you watch, take over, secure input, task history and browser tool permissions.
Ask in chat: "Use the browser to find the cheapest flight Jammu to Delhi next Friday" or "open my college site and download the admit card". CX opens pages in CX Browser, reads them and does the clicking and typing while you watch.
Watching a task#
- In chat an AI Browser card shows the current step ("Reading page · 4s", "Clicking", "Typing", "Scrolling") with Full screen, Cancel task and a live checklist of the task.
- In the browser an AI stripe shows each action ("Opened…", "Clicked…", "Typing into…"), with Stop and Show recent. An AI cursor shows where it types ("Typing in Email").
- Live view: "AI Browser · live" with Take over (you control the page) and Cancel task.
- A Browser tasks notification shows live progress while you are in another app, with a stop action.
When you are needed#
Action Required / Manual step needed appears for OTPs, logins or form values: enter the value and tap Send, then Continue AI or Stop.
Secure input#
Passwords, OTPs, card details and API keys are never typed into the chat. CX shows a secure card ("Secured by Chandail X"): Continue with … saved login, a secure choice card for options, or a Review order card before paying. CX never asks for your UPI PIN. Without notification access, codes are asked in the secure card.
Saved logins#
When the agent signs in and you approve saving, the login is stored encrypted on this device (Cx Orbit → Logins; Settings → Browser → AI browser saved logins).
Permissions#
- Safe browser actions continue after Allow for this chat.
- Submit actions always require approval (you review URL, fields and final action).
- JavaScript actions always require approval and are hardline-checked.
- Per-domain permissions control read, click, type, submit and download (Remember for this site).
Browser tools#
Open URL, current URL, screenshot, get text/DOM/links, back/forward, wait for element, page state, find element, find in page, desktop site, form state, list/new/switch/close tabs, fill form, accessibility tree, list frames, snapshot and compare page, security check (sensitive controls and prompt-injection signals), domain permissions, list/status/cancel downloads, observe page (numbered list of buttons, links, inputs), batch actions, click, type, scroll, submit, select, press key, run JavaScript, download file, and browser-done. Each can be switched off under Settings → Browser → Advanced → Tools enabled, with a per-tool timeout (10 s – 10 min) and single-task timeout (1 – 60 min).
CX can also read up to several pages at the same time in background browsers (parallel read).
Task history#
Task history lists browser tasks CX did for you, with Open chat and Clear all (your chats stay). Save task history can be turned off.
