Code, tables and math
How code blocks, tables, LaTeX, Mermaid and HTML are shown, and the display options for them.
Code blocks#
Code is syntax-highlighted with a copy button. Options in Settings → Chat and display → Messages → Code Display:
- Code Block Auto Wrap – wrap long lines.
- Code Block Auto Collapse – collapse code blocks by default.
- Show Line Numbers.
Very long lines are guarded so the chat stays smooth.
Tables#
Markdown tables render as scrollable tables. Wide tables scroll sideways.
Math#
With Enable LaTeX Rendering on, $…$ and $$…$$ render as formulas.
Diagrams and HTML#
Mermaid diagrams are rendered with a bundled Mermaid library. HTML output and pages can be opened with Render with WebView or as an HTML file card (Open HTML file, View content).
JSON and numbers#
JSON is pretty-printed; numbers in some answers are highlighted for readability.
